qWindow

qWindow is giving the control over each FileMaker Pro window back to you, the developer. The way from a nativ FileMaker solution to a real Mac applications is a step closer with qWindow!

Change the behaviour of any window created with FileMaker. Decide wether users may change a window in its size or position on the screen: control each of the the three window buttons close, colapse, zoom and the rezise area in the lower right corner of each window. With the function LockWindowPosition you can fix the position of a window on the screen so that a user cannot move it.

Requirements

Minimum requirement is FileMaker Pro 7 and MacOS X 10.4. A PowerPC version for MacOS X 10.3 is available if needed. The plug-in is a universal binary and runs on Intel- and PowerPC-based Mac computer. FileMaker 10 and MacOS X 10.6 Snow Leopard are fully supported.

Version 1.1 is not compatible with FileMaker 11, we are working on an update.

Please download your demo file by a click on the “Download” button on top of the page. The download package contains the qWindow plug-in for FileMaker Pro and a sample database. The demo can be switched into a full working copy by purchasing a license key.
